Assamese girl among Modi's backroom boys

GUWAHATI, March 15: An Assamese girl, Amrita Barthakur, is one among the backroom boys of Prime Minister rendra Modi’s Start up India Initiative that has been launched by him recently.  Amrita, daughter of social activist and industrialist Dipok Kumar Barthakur and Dr. Indira Barthakur of Guwahati, was part of the team that worked behind the scenes to draft of the action plan. She was one of the keynote speakers in the Start-up conference held in Bangaluru recently. Currently she is the general counsel for a Silicon Valley based venture capital fund and is the maging director of LB Group which provides employment and skill development opportunities to local youth. She is among the ten top upcoming corporate lawyers in India.
