GUWAHATI, Dec 18: Divers of the first NDRF Battalion retrieved the body of a man, Manidro Sarma (46), son of Triyath Sarma of Mazirgaon (Thakuriyapara) under Azara police station in Kamrup (M), from a pond in the village today. Sarma had been missing since December 16. Soon after receiving the information from Azara police, a team of 20 rescuers, including two divers, of the battalion rushed to the spot with ther required equipment. Team carried out continued search operation today and fished out the body.
