Class-1 officers' body backs SAKP demand

GUWAHATI, Nov 23: The Coordition Committee of 14 Class-1 Officers Service Association of Assam, a joint forum of associations of State Government doctors, engineers of various technical departments, agriculture officers, Assam fincial service officers, veteriry officers, officers of factory and boiler departments, fishery officers, dentists, geology and mining officers, dairy and animal husbandry officers urged the State Government to implement the Pay Commission report with effect from January 1, 2016 after proper scrutiny of the report submitted by the seventh APPPC recently. Committee chairman Dilip Deka and convener Kailash Barman, in a press release issued today, extended support to the demand raised by the Sadou Asam Karmachari Parishad (SAKP) in this regard.
