GUWAHATI, Aug 9: The British Council, UK’s intertiol organization for educatiol opportunities and cultural relations, is hosting a Discover- UK Day, an exhibition which will help interested students understand the opportunities available for further study in the UK. The exhibition was for students and parents to meet representatives of UK universities and colleges on a one-to-one basis and get all their questions answered on courses choice, applications, scholarships and more. The day-long programme was organized by British Council’s on Wednesday in the city. Around 300 students visited the event and some of the key UK universities present at the venue are University of Central Lancashire, Edinburgh pier University, Kings College London, Queen’s University Belfast and many others. The council has also organized semirs to educate the students and parents on UK educations, UK education visas, UCAS application and IELTS.
