Guwahati, March, 30 : Member of Parliament Gaurav Gogoi has been awarded the Best Parliamentarian Award 2018 by Fame India magazine. Gogoi is projected as new youth hope for the development in the north eastern region of India by the magazine.
Gaurav Gogoi has been selected along with 25 Lok Sabha members from across the country belonging to different categories. The award was presented in the presence of Minister of Science & Technology, forest & environment Harsh Vardhan, Mininster of State Minister of State of Coal , Mines Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary, Minister of State of Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal, and senior Congress leader Jardan Dwivedi, among others.
The magazine Fame India carried out a study on the performance, popularity, behavior towards the public of their constituencies, social contribution, connectivity with the masses, work strategy and Implementation of policies, persolity, participation in arguments, private bill, question raised in the Parliament and attendance in Parliament among other aspects of the MPs of the Lok Sabha Sabha to determine the winners. This was stated in a communiqué.
