GUWAHATI, April 21: As a part of the fortnightly celebration of the 127th birth anniversary Dr. BR Ambedkar, Directorate of Welfare of SC, Assam and Assam State Development Corporation for SC Ltd. organized a ‘Gram Swaraj Abhiyan’ outreach programme at Anandanagar Safai Karmachari Colony at Bhangagarh, Guwahati on Saturday. Attending the programme, Leena Das, Director of Welfare of SC, delivered a lecture on ‘Gram Swaraj Abhiyan’ and recalled the vast contribution of Dr. BR Ambedkar towards Nation building, a press release said. Dr. Sangeeta Sarmah, Circle Officer of Guwahati Revenue Circle, elaborated matters pertaining to procurement of Caste and Income Certificates by SC families.
