IIMUN Guwahati Chapter underway

GUWAHATI, Jan 28: The three-day Indian Intertiol Model United tions (IIMUN), Guwahati Chapter is underway since January 27 at Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS), Guwahati. Encompassing the Northeast and West Bengal, a total 109 delegates from Delhi Public School, Guwahati; Army Public School, rengi; Holy Child School Guwahati; Gurukul Grammar School, Guwahati; Delhi Public School, Numaligarh; Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Panbazar; Army Public School, Basistha; Delhi Public School, Siliguri; St. Micheal’s School, Siliguri and host Miles Bronson Residential School (MBRS), Guwahari are taking part at the conference that was iugurated by former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi. Former Indian Ambassador to Portugal and Dr. JN Misra graced as the conference as the keynote speaker.

Dr. NK Dutta, founder and principal, MBRS, Guwahati emphasized the core significance of holding IIMUN conference to enhance sustaible growth of the country in the field of human development index, progress of inquisitive mind and the enhancement of standard of living of people.

Tarun Gogoi reflected upon ‘unity in diversity’ as the main strength and beauty of the country and asked all budding talents to take their future path for a better tomorrow clad with democratic, socialist and secular reformations to make India free from poverty and exploitations.

IIMUN is a platform based on the simulations of United tions and Indian Parliament conducted in various cities of the country which was founded by Mr. Rishabh Shah. The main objective of IIMUN conference is to extend exposure and leadership skills to budding talents by making students to discuss various tiol and intertiol concerns and to extract fruitful resolutions as diplomats.
