GUWAHATI, Nov 7: Three persons have been taken into custody in connection with the Sijubari fake currency printing racket case in the city. It was busted by the police on Monday. According to police sources, after conducting an investigation, the police filly bbed three kingpins of the fake currency racket. The accused are – Jamil Ahmed Mazumdar (45) of Hailakandi, Zakir Hussain (23) of Karimganj and Jiyabuddin (38) of Hailakandi. They were apprehended from Daranda near Six Mile. In this connection, a police case (639/17, U/S-420/468/489(A)/489(D)/489(E)/34 of IPC) has been registered at Hatigaon police station.
