GUWAHATI, August 19: The Kamrup Metro e-governce umbrella introduced a new KCC loan monitoring and magement system today which is a web-based portal and accessible by the Agriculture Department and different banks of the district.
ADC Fakaruddin Ahmed demonstrated the system in a meeting at the DC's Conference Hall where many officials from the Agriculture Department and banks were present. DC M Angamuthu instructed all the officials to go by the online system for the farmers. Angamuthu said: "This application facilitates the processing and disposal of the KCC loan at both the ends. Earlier there was no such effective e-tracking system to mage the government-sponsored schemes. Now, online monitoring will be possible at each level."
