Guwahati, April 5: Lat mandol Mrigen Deuri (53), son of late Upendra th Deuri of Dispur Revenue Circle was arrested today in connection with Basista PS case no 396/18 U/S 120 B/406/409/420/196/197/199/200 IPC for selling government land (dag no 1051, patta no 163) through touts to Sandhya Mazumder Purkayashta at No 3 Kahilipara Rifugee Collony under Fatashil Aambari PS. Sandhya M Purakayastha is the wife of late Utpal Purakayastha of BBC Collony, Pandu.
