GUWAHATI, February 6: The Assam Government has extended the term of the one–man commission of inquiry headed by Justice (Retd.) PC Phukan, enquiring into the incidence of violence that erupted in various places of Goalpara district on February 12, 2013. The term has been extended up to February 28, 2015 with effect from January 1, 2015 or till the submission of the report, whichever is earlier, a press release said.
