GUWAHATI, May 3: To streamline the Gauhati Municipal Corporation (GMC) election, all the registration officers were imparted training on preparation of the electoral rolls in respect of all the 31 GMC Wards in Guwahati today. On the event, Tokheswar Muktiar, Secretary, State Election Commission explained the process needed to be followed in preparing the electoral roll. Deba Kumar Mishra, Additional Commissioner, GMC along with election officer Chinmoy Prakash Phookan also attended occasion. The draft electoral rolls for all the 31 wards of GMC shall be published on May 5.
