GUWAHATI, Oct 11: Two candidates backed by the SFI won the students' union elections in Guwahati College. According SFI's Kamrup district committee president Pratul Barman, SFI-supported candidate for the post of debate and semir secretary Abhilasha Barkakati and another SFI-backed candidate for the post of secretary of minor games came out winners yesterday when the election was held. An elated Barman expressed his hope that both the candidates would work with sincerity, and said that the win has proved that the SFI has a good ground in Guwahati College.
