GUWAHATI, Dec 2: A five-day workshop is going to be held for bringing about awareness on tural colours among the people at Bastra Bhawan at Ambari from December 5 in the city. The workshop is being held under the Handloom Research and Chaneki Centre, Government of Assam.
Government Ayurvedic College Principal Dr. Hemanta Das will deliver a lecture on the medicil values of tural colours.
The assistant director of the Weavers’ Service Centre, Government of India will also deliver a lecture on the demand of cloths with tural colours. He will also give a detailed account on government schemes for such cloths.
