The Supreme Court collegium headed by CJI Dipak Misra has recommended advocates Sanjay Kumar Medhi and ni Tagia to be appointed as permanent judges of the Gauhati High Court. The recommendation included views of concerned Chief Ministers, State Governors, age, income and so on.
