TNPCB Recruitment 2020 Notification: Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) Chennai is looking for eligible candidates from Engineering Graduates, Degree Holders and Post Graduates for direct recruitment of Assistant Engineer, Environmental Scientist, Typist and Junior Assistants for filling up total 242 vacancies.

Age Limit: 18 to 30 years for General / Unreserved category candidates; 18 to 35 years for SC, SC (A), ST, MBC/DNC, BC, BCM.
Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Engineer - (1) Basic qualification should be a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering, and (2) Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ M.Tech. Environmental Science and Technology awarded by Anna University / M.Tech. Petroleum Refining and Petrochemicals awarded by Anna University/ M.E. Environmental Management awarded by Anna University.
Environmental Scientist - Master’s Degree in Science in any one of the following discipline (1) Chemistry (2) Biology (3) Zoology (4) Environmental Chemistry (5) Environmental Science (6) Environmental Toxicology (7) Microbiology (8) Marine Biology (9) Bio-Chemistry(10) Analytical Chemistry (11) Applied Chemistry (12) Botany.
Assistant (Junior Assistant) - (1) A Pass in Bachelor's Degree. (2) Diploma or Certificate in Computer Course for a period of minimum 06 months
Typist - (1) A pass in a Bachelor’s Degree. (2) A pass in the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting Higher Grade in English and Tamil and (3) Diploma / Certificate in Computer Course for a period of minimum six months.
Eligibility:
Eligible candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil language on the date of notification. A person will be deemed to possess an adequate knowledge in Tamil in the case of a post for which Educational Qualification prescribed is the minimum general educational Qualification and above he/she must have passed the SSLC/HSC/Degree etc., with Tamil as one of the languages or studied the High school course in Tamil medium and passed the SSLC Public examination in Tamil medium.
Selection Process: Online Examination (Objective Type) and Interview.
Application Fee: ₹ 500/- for OC, BC (O), BC (M), MBC / DNC candidates; ₹ 250/- for SC, SC(A), ST, Differently Abled persons, Destitute Widows candidates. The exam fee is payable online through Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card.
