It has been noticed that general public seemed amused by some phrases used in the present government and are gradually becoming an irrelevance. ‘Zero tolerance to corruption’, ‘ease of doing official works due to digitization’, ‘facilities offered to senior citizens in doing official business’ are some terms/phrases losing their true meaning. Can a person do an official work in an office at one visit? There have been some common excuses for which a person has to go there for more than once. Some troublesome offices are, the DTO, land matter related circle office, DC office etc. However, if an agent is used for a lump sum, work can be done in a reduced time period.
The most notable matter in this connection is that the office assistants never maintain a register/ logbook to keep records of file/application submitted to him. In many offices, like DTO, circle office etc people do not get an acknowledgement receipts or a number form for future reference. If somehow a file/application is lost or misplaced, there is no record to get a track of that file/application.
Under such circumstances, we request our present government to issue an instruction to all government offices to follow some procedures such as:
