Receiving end
ICJ, or the International Court of Justice, with its HQ in Geneva, is a platform where disputes among the nations are settled at the international level. Sadly, so far, the justice delivered by the ICJ is not up to the mark, as India has always been on the receiving end in many past cases. Kapil Sibal, the numero uno legal luminary of the nation and an ex-Indian National Congress member, recently advised the central government to take the Pahalgam issue to CJI for proper justice instead of launching OPERATION SINDOOR. His mentor, late Nehru, took the Kashmir issue to the UN, for which we are still ruing. Persons like Sibal always put the interests of his profession above that of the nation. We all know in the Bhopal Gas tragedy case it was only Sibal's legal acumen that the Union Carbide's accused officials were acquitted by our judiciary, which enabled the culprits to flee the country, leaving the poor victims' families high and dry.
Kapil Dev is a blessing to the nation, whereas Kapil Sibal is a curse to the nation. A harsh reality.

Op Sindoor: Fight against terrorism
Our armed forces deserve to be lauded. Operation Sindoor showed India's military might and sent a clear message to those who wish to disrupt peace. Every Indian is proud of the armed forces for destroying nine terror camps and killing over 100 terrorists in Pakistan. India's unequivocal response to the Pahalgam massacre is not the first time that Delhi has sent a strong message to Pakistan. While Delhi maintains its zero-tolerance policy against terror, both India and Pakistan must ensure that this situation does not escalate further. One should also not forget how strongly the Kashmiris stood up in favour of India and put forth a united front.
Operation Sindoor should act as a warning not just for Pakistan but also for countries like Afghanistan and Bangladesh. They should think twice before taking an aggressive stance against India.
Operation Sindoor stands as a landmark in India's fight against terror. Pakistan has not only raised terrorists but has also harboured fundamentalists like Osama bin Laden.

Terrorists are a curse on humanity
There is no doubt about this universal fact: terrorists commit appalling crimes against humanity. They are a curse on religion and its followers. The cowardly and inhuman acts of terrorism are violations of humanity. So many countries, including India, are suffering due to this. Enough is enough. This time the law-abiding citizens of India stand together and protest spontaneously against the recent terrorist attack. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Kalpana Bora for the most precious article, 'Akalpniyo, Avishwasiya, Adbhud Operation Sindoor', published in your esteemed daily on May 8, which is worth reading. The writer has rightly said that "Operation Sindoor" is Modi's Bharat, doing due Nyaya to the price of Sindoor of those Bharatiya Naris that was taken away by terrorists. Needless to say, for a married woman, Sindoor is her life, strength and pride and is priceless for her. Terrorists never thought of the importance of that Sindoor. So, they got what they deserved. Today, when we look at the Kashmiris, we feel their agony against the continued terrorist attacks, which have badly hit their socio-economic life and changed their day-to-day lives from bad to worse. They want to join hands with the rest of India towards her goal of Viksit Bharat, as they want peace, stability and progress in the valley of Heaven. A strong message has gone to the world that India's precision strike is not against innocent civilians but terror camps. People from all sections, communities and societies are in a festive mood and celebrating after the victory of Operation Sindoor 1.0. This is how a responsible, mature, courageous, strong and about-to-be-developed nation, India, behaves. The neighbouring nation should learn that by committing mischief, they cannot prevent 140 crore Indians from being united against terrorism or any other force that tries to hurt her. Today, numerous countries worldwide are endorsing Bharat's action, strongly citing their opposition to terrorism. We must be, therefore, proud of our well-equipped military and dynamic and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
