I am writing to express my deep concern about the environmental problems caused by the rapid urbanization of Assam. The unbridled expansion of urban areas is taking a toll on our natural resources and ecosystems. The destruction of forests in the name of expanding roads in Assam has destroyed the balance of nature and increased the level of pollution at a massive rate, posing a serious threat to the health and welfare of the local communities.
It is crucial for authorities to implement sustainable urban planning practices, prioritize green space, and enforce strict environmental regulations. In addition, community involvement and awareness campaigns should be promoted to ensure that citizens actively participate in the conservation of our environment. As responsible citizens, we must collectively address these issues before the natural beauty and environmental balance of Assam are irreversibly damaged.
