International Model Lin Laishram from Manipur to marry long-time boyfriend Randeep Hooda

GUWAHATI: Popular Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda is all set to marry his long-time girlfriend Lin Laishram. Laishram is a popular model and power-packed actor from Manipur, who had acted in “Mary Kom” where Priyanka Chopra had essayed the role of the boxer.

She made her cameo in Bollywood with Om Shanti Om which was her debut film.

Laishram has also acted in several other Bollywood films like Umrika (2015), Rangoon (2017), and Ava Maria (2020) and has been a prominent part of Naseeruddin Shah’s theatre group, Motley.

She was also the brand ambassador for a New York-based jewellery brand named Ozoru Jewelry.

She also participated in Kingfisher Calendar Girl. Laishram invited controversy after becoming the first Manipuri model who donned a swimsuit on national television.

She is also a trained archer from Tata Archery Academy in Jamshedpur. In March 2017 she started her jewellery line called Shampoo Sana.

Randeep Hooda has been dating Lin Laishram since 2016. They were snapped together at Vijender Singh’s boxing match at Thyagraj Stadium in New Delhi in 2018.

After 4 years of dating the couple is finally taking their relationship to the next level. According to reports, Hooda is all set to introduce his girlfriend to his parents in Haryana where they reside.

Two years back, he made his girlfriend meet his sister Anjali Hooda and now with the actor involving his parents into this, fans are expecting a big announcement from them.

The actor will be seen in a Netflix film ‘Extraction’, starring Chris Hemsworth that’s set to release this summer. Hooda was named CMS Ambassadors for Migratory Species until 2023 under the redesigned Ambassadors Programme launched at CMS COP13. He had garnered much praise after essaying the role of Sarbjit (2016).

Hooda starred in the commercially successful Once Upon a Time in Mumbai (2010), and later was noted for his performance in Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster (2011), which even earned him an IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actor nomination. His roles in movies like Jannat 2 (2012) and Jism 2 (2012) sustained him success at the box-office. As he continued to collect praise for his performances in such films, the road drama Highway (2014) and the biopics Rang Rasiya (2014) and Sarbjit (2016) made his career more successful.
