Mizoram’s “Lawm from the hills” was among some of the top brands, industry experts, and celebrities who were invited to the exclusive Vogue Beauty & Wellness Awards 2025 powered by Tira Beauty held recently at Mumbai. The beauty brand uses natural ingredients sourced from Mizoram’s local farmers and combines them with science. Sharing about their presence at the prestigious event, Puipuii Hmar, Founder, Lawm from the hills, said, “It feels great to be present among prominent brands and names and representing our Northeast region in a huge platform as this. We really hope to bring a change in the beauty industry with our products, the raw materials of which are sustainably sourced from across Mizoram.”
The beauty industry being cluttered with a myriad of products, “Lawm from the hills” launched in 2022, offers everyday beauty basics that do just what they promise without overwhelming the consumer. Lawm (meaning Joy in Mizo) from the hills, was the only Northeast beauty brand to attend the event where Vogue India headed by Rochelle Pinto, awarded celebrities, who have made achievements inthe field of beauty, wellness and advocacy, like Shilpa Shetty, Aditi Rao Hydari, Bhumi Pednekar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Tiger Shroff and Sara Tendulkar.
