Tanushree Dutta has made it to the headlines as a video of her crying has gone viral. In the past, she has hit headlines due to several controversies. One of them revolved around claims made against Vivek Agnihotri.

“Aashiq Banaya Aapne” actress Tanushree Dutta has been one of the controversial stars over the past few years. She is currently in news due to a surprising video of her crying alleging that she is facing harassment at home. The actress quit the film industry and moved to the US and was last seen in the film “SuperCops Vs Super Villains”. However, in 2018, Tanushree Dutta made it to the headlines as she made some shocking claims about the #MeToo movement. Tanushree Dutta, in one of the interviews, also made some shocking allegations against filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri. They worked together in the movie “Chocolate”. The actress claimed of facing mistreatment on sets.

In an interview, Tanushree Dutta revealed that she was yelled at by Vivek Agnihotri as she arrived on the set five minutes late. She shared that she always arrived on the sets on time, sometimes even before the sets were completely unready. However, one particular day when she arrived five minutes late, Tanushree Dutta claimed that was called ‘unprofessional’ by Vivek Agnihotri. Further Tanushree Dutta also spoke about being made to wear short clothes on sets and not being allowed to rest in van. She claimed how she was made to feel uncomfortable on sets as Vivek Agnihotri made her sit in short skirt in front of the entire crew. She was quoted saying, “Artists are supposed to rest in the van when they are not shooting. Especially, agar apne mujhe is tarah ke kapde diye hain – jo short kapde waghera hote hain. Main kabhi robe bhi pehn ke baithti thi to bolta tha ‘Nahi, abhi shot aane wala hai to isko utaaro’. Woh short skirt mein mujhe poori unit ke saamne bitha ke rakhta tha.

Later in an interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Vivek Agnihotri had reacted to the claims made by Tanushree Dutta. The filmmaker said that there is a lot of pressure on actors and actresses in the industry and when someone fails to attain success, they get frustrated and fail to be rational. (Agencies)
