SAN FRANCISCO: Riding once again on its Azure Cloud business, Microsoft has reported strong growth with $41.7 billion in sales (up 19 per cent year-over-year) and $15.5 billion in net income for the quarter ended March 31. Microsoft's biggest growth engine was Azure Cloud division which saw $15.1 billion in revenue, a 23 per cent year-over-year increase.
"Over a year into the pandemic, digital adoption curves aren't slowing down. They're accelerating, and it's just the beginning," said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. (IANS)
