Tired of walking miles together
Who knows –
How far the bridge is
The city is wrapped in sleep
Who will tell me
Which one your lane is
Came for a glimpse of your smile
Yet I did not know
You left your abode for ever
I'm tired of walking miles together
INTROSPECTION
I was growing with
Every sunrise and sunset
So was my soul and mind.
But never knew when
The weed of ego grew inside me
How avarice, selfishness, hypocrisy
Sprouted inside the skull
And devoured my childish simplicity.
But had enough of it by now
Don't want to grow any more
Give me back my innocence
Take away all name and fame
Give me back my childhood.
