Boost to Assam agri sector, Indo-Israel Centre of Excellence for Vegetables inaugurated in Guwahati

Guwahati: In a move that would give a big boost to the agriculture sector of Assam, Israel has agreed to extend its cooperation and expertise for the farm sector. The decision was taken at the meeting between Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Ambassador of Israel to India, Dr Ron Malka on Monday. Malka is on a day's visit to Guwahati today.

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and the Ambassador laid the foundation stone of Indo-Israel Centre of Excellence for Vegetables Protected Civilization in Guwahati.

The Assam CM expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for boosting Indo-Israel relations to newer heights.
