Centre gets More Time for Response on Baby-Feeding Rooms Plea

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Tuesday granted the Central government, state governments, and civic authorities more time to file a response on the plea seeking construction of baby-feeding and child care rooms at public places. A bench of Chief Justice Rajendra Menon and Justice V. Kameswar Rao listed the matter for further hearing on November 26. The bench, which was hearing a plea filed by a nine-month-old Avyaan through his mother Neha Rastogi and advocate Animesh Rastogi seeking court’s intervention in providing adequate facilities to lactating mothers and infants in the country.
