Labourer rapes female dog in Mumbai

Mumbai: In a very inhuman incident, a 30-year-old labourer allegedly raped a female dog in Mumbai. The barbaric incident happened in a society's car parking bay in Mumbai's Mulund (West) neighbourhood on Thursday.

The accused, who is identified as Shobhnath Saroj took the innocent animal to a small room at the parking bay, tied up her mouth with a rope and sexually assaulted her.

The locals of the area along with security guards rushed to the room after hearing the dog cry and found her bleeding from the vagina. They also noticed stains of blood on the floor.

After being informed about the cruel act, police reached the spot and arrested the accused.

The dog was taken to an animal hospital for medical examination.

An offence has been registered against the accused under Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code and 11(1)(a) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
