NEW DELHI: In a horrific incident in Vizag of Vishakapatnam, a 42-year-old man allegedly raped his minor daughter for the reason that she was spending much time on using the mobile phone.
According to reports on Saturday 22 January, the victim girl studying in class 10 unveiled the truth to one of her school teachers on being questioned.
As the girl was not leaving the school even after the school hours therefore the teachers asked her the reason for staying in school. She answered that she didn't wish to go back to her home as her father was sexually exploiting her for a long period of time.
On Saturday night the girl then along with the teacher went to the local police station to lodge a complaint against her father.
After registering the case, the police officials took no time to arrest the accused and sent the girl for medical inquiry. The accused man was later sent to judicial custody on Sunday 23 January.
Since then the police initiated a detailed investigation on the matter and they found that about two years ago the accused person had fallen severely ill following his kidney failure.
According to reports, his wife donated her kidneys to save her husband and then she herself had to face severe health conditions about 5 months ago.
The wife fell sick and went to her mother's home. She is at present undergoing certain medical treatment from her mother's place.
The daughter was left to reside with the father to take care of him after the kidney operation. But the man allegedly raped his daughter several times over the last few months.
As per reports, the man committed the crime of raping his daughter out of anger as the minor girl used to spend most of her time on using the mobile phone.
