Mehbooba Mufti terms the scrapping of Article 370 the "Darkest Day", While Ram Madhav marks it as 'Glorious day’

New Delhi: The scrapping of Article 370 by Home Minister Amit Shah in the parliament on Monday has led to creating mixed reactions from the oppositions, BJP party members and the common masses of the nation. some are extending a string hand of support to the new decision while some are criticizing it as the "Darkest day".

Mehbooba Mufti, the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, has tweeted by marking the decision as the ‘Darkest day’. She took to express her opinion on the micro-blogging site immediately after Home Minister Amit Shah revoked Article 370 of the Constitution in Rajya Sabha which will also put an end to the special status category so long been enjoyed by Jammu and Kashmir.

A series of tweets made by the political leader highlights her strong protest to the Modi Government decission of scrapping the special status from the state. She is seen to have blamed the Government of India by saying that it has "pushed Kashmiris to the brink. There is no other way but to oppose this illegal & unconstitutional onslaught on our dignity. Attaching an audio clip to this tweet since this is the only way to communicate." She, in her audio clip, has expressed her protest and have even gone to term the government as the thieves to steal the rights of the people of Kashmir which was, however, given by this same parliament.

Along with the citizens of the state, the regional parties in Jammu and Kashmir has also called this decission of the government's attempt to abrogate Article 370 as an aggression against the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
