Shillong, July 19: One person was injured in a road mishap on NH-44 at Puriang under Mawryngkneng block in East Khasi Hills district on Wednesday morning. According to reports, a Tata truck heading towards Guwahati collided head on with a Mahindra pick-up truck heading towards Jowai and coming from the opposite direction. Mahindra pick-up’s driver Wanches Dhar (28) sustained injuries and was brought to the Civil Hospital here by an 108 ambulance based at Mawryngkneng.
