12-hour bandh hits normal life

Tamulpur, July 27: The bandh called by Tamulpur district Minority Students’ Union yesterday affected normal life. The 12-hour bandh from 5 am to 5 pm in Tamulpur subdivision saw the burning of tyres in Rangia-Tamulpur-Bhutan road. The bandh was called in protest against gambling and to demand proper construction of roads. The agitators raised slogans against Tamulpur police administration.
