Colombo, March 26: At least 12 Indian fishermen were arrested by Sri Lankan vy for allegedly poaching in its waters, it said on Sunday.
The vy on Saturday also seized two of their trawlers for allegedly fishing in Sri Lankan waters northwest of Delft Island, Colombo Page reported.
The Indian fishermen will be handed over to the Jaff Assistant Director of Fisheries for investigation, the vy said. (IANS)
