13th Adivasi Mahasabha concludes at Alisinga

DHEKIAJULI, January 31: The four-day 13th Adivasi  Mahasabha ended at Alisinga, Dhekiajuli on Sunday. The Adivasi  Mahasabha had started on January 28 at Alisinga, four km from Dhekiajuli town. On the concluding day Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, Food and Civil Supplies Minster Dr zrul Islam, Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Anjan Dutta, Forest Minster Atuwa Munda, Congress  spokesperson Apurba Bhattacharjya,  Deputy Speaker Bhimanda Tanti and local MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Habul Chakroborty  attended the function. In his speech Chief Minister Gogoi once  again reiterated that  he has Adivasi blood in his body. Thousands  of Adivasi people from all over Assam attended the four-day Adivasi  Mahasabha which was was organized by AASA, AATSA and other Adivasi organizations.
