KALAIGAON, Nov 26: The 13th edition of the triennial conference of Udalguri district committee of Assam Gorkha Sammelan (AGS), a premiere social organization of the Nepali speaking population of the State, will be held at the Golmagaon High School premises with a three-day programme from January 7 to January 9. This was informed by Laxman Gautam, general secretary of the district committee of the organization. A press release issued to this effect stated that the three-day event of the district committee of the AGS will include AGS flag hoisting, floral tribute to the departed souls of the organization and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives along the Indo-Pak border, literary congregation, delegates’ sessions, formation of the new district committee, cultural programme, multi-cultural procession and an open session to be chaired by Ramesh Dahal, president of the district committee of the organization.
