SHILLONG, May 22: Along with the rest of the country, the Mawsynram Assembly Youth Congress (MAYC) on May 20 celebrated the 26th death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi by distributing blankets to patients at Mawsynram CHC, East Khasi Hills.
The delegation of MAYC was led by Banosha Lartang, President of MAYC in the presence of other members including Dr. M Diengdoh in-charge of the CHC.
The doctor (M Diengdoh) has expressed that in his 7 years of service he has not witnessed any social organization to take up such a step towards the patients.
“This is the first time and that to from the MAYC and their assistance in providing blankets to the patients with greatly benefit them,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Banosha President of MAYC said that Rajiv Gandhi is the youngest Prime Minister of the country and someone who works hard to uplift the country as a whole.
The MAYC leader has further extended his best wishes to the patients of Mawsynram CHC, to attain speedy recovery and once again achieve good health.
