BONGAIGAON, October 27: “The 27th annual conference of the Association of Surgeons of India, Assam State Chapter, will be held in Bongaigaon,” said Dr Diganta Kumar Das, secretary of the organizing committee. The three-day conference will begin from November 4 at Champa Club of Bongaigaon Refinery Township. “About 300 delegates from all over Assam and the Northeast are likely to participate in this conference. The meeting will be graced by guest speakers of tiol and intertiol repute. The whole programme has been organized by the Bongaigaon Chapter of Association of Surgeons of Assam,” Dr Das said. In this regard an organizing committee has already been formed with Dr D Hazarika as organizing chairperson and Dr Diganta Kumar Das as organizing secretary.
