JORHAT, Feb 4: Leo Advertising, an event magement group will hold the 5th Intertiol Leo Expo, 2016 from February 5 to February 16 at the JDSA (Jorhat District Sports Authority), Jorhat. The main attraction of the Expo will be the abundance of trade and trading avenues. This was stated by representatives of Leo Expo while interacting with media persons during a press meet in Jorhat on Thursday.
Several leading MNCs and reputed brands like Pasonic, Kutchi will participate in the show, besides stalls from Assam to Kashmir and to down south. In the intertiol segment only two countries -Thailand with a booking of 15 stalls and Bangladesh - have already confirmed their participation. Egypt too was on the list but last minute visa hurdles forced the country to walk out of the Expo. However, Egyptian artifacts and other traditiol items will be showcased through their Indian representatives. Food lovers can try out mouthwatering dishes in the two specially made restaurants, of which one will serve Hyderabadi Biryani.
Organizers Mridul Kumar Dutta, Pradip Kumar Deka and Bipul Choudhury said, “This year the main theme of the Expo is stressing the need of a sofa-cum-bed in every home wherein sofas used during the day can equally be used as bed at night. The concept has already gained popularity in the wake of rising population, diminishing land and construction of small houses. Handloom, handicraft and woolen items from Kashmir are expected to attract a lot of people. We would hence like to request the people to come out in large numbers and make the event a grand success.”
