Golaghat, August 3: The 7th biennial conference of All Assam other Backward Classes’ Association will held at the Golaghat Ajori Bibah Bhavan with a two day-long programme from August 8 to August 9.
The programme will started with hoisting of flag. Later the first meeting of the State convention will start followed by the second convention and selection meeting.
On the second day, an open session will held in which Gourav Gogoi, MP of Kaliabor, will take part as guest of honour.
The dignitaries who will attend the meeting are Ajanta Neog, Minister PWD, Minister Bismita Gogoi, Arklius Tirkey, MLA Sarupathar LAC, Arati Kachari, MLA Dergaon LAC, Arun Phukan, MLA Bokakhat LAC, Deep Gogoi, former MP, Amiyo Kr. Borah, former chairman of APSC, Soram Khanikor, Additiol Deputy Commissioner, Dr Putul Saikia, Principal of Debraj Roy College, Ghasyam Barhoi, chairman of Golaghat Municipal Board, Atul Bortamuly, president, AAKRSU, Dil Bahadur Limbo, AAGSU, Indrani Gogoi, Moni Bora and Pur Rajkhowa, social worker.
In the meeting the organization will publish a souvenir Sampriti, which will be iugurated by noted writer, jourlist, former chairman of Golaghat Municipal Board, Dr Ajit Baruah.
