Hojai, Dec 24: The All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad (AABP) central committee has conveyed greetings to all people on the auspicious occasion of Christmas. Rajesh Chaubey, vice-president of AABP in his Christmas message said that the spirit of Christmas was the spirit of love and generosity and of goodness, adding that it also reflected a dedication to help those in need, to give hope to one in despair, and to spread peace and understanding. “On this day, we all pray to God for the well-being of all, for peace and prosperity, for development and for happiness of everyone,” said Chaubey. Stating that Christmas always brought out the best in people like forgiveness and a sense of brotherhood in all walks of life, Chaubey urged people to pledge and work for unity and peace in Assam.
