Ajmal inaugurates skill training centre at Hojai

GUWAHATI, Oct 25: Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yoja (DDU–GKY) is a skill training based project being implemented by Markazul Ma'arif, one of the three flagship wings of Ajmal CSR, in three districts of Assam mely gaon, Dhubri and Goalpara, stated a press release. The total beneficiaries earmarked for training in two years are 1,440. A team from NIRD, Hyderabad and ASRLMS, Guwahati had done inspection recently. Markazul Ma'arif has opened two training centres for this project – one at ARTDC, Padumpukhuri, Kapasbari, Hojai and another at the head office of Markazul Ma'arif, Hojai. The training centres would be fully operatiol from the November 1, 2015 and 240 candidates will be imparted training in the first batch covering a period of three months.

 Recently Badruddin Ajmal, MP & CEO Ajmal CSR, iugurated one of the training centres of Markazul Ma'arif (PIA) under DDU–GKY project at Hojai. Ajmal praised the efforts of the project team for making this centre as the best centre in India in terms of infrastructure as expressed by the inspecting team of different agencies and government departments. Ajmal also asked the team to continue their best efforts in future too so that the training quality of the centre also becomes the best in India in coming days. He asked Markazul Ma'arif and Ajmal Foundation to work more in the field of skill education for the youths of Assam.

Dr Ambuj Mohapatra, Senior Officer of MoRD, Govt of India, while visiting Ajmal Foundation for inspection of STEP Project had made a courtesy visit to Markazul Ma'arif head office and he was very impressed to see the training centre of DDU–GKY. He told that this centre was the best centre he had seen all over India.

Amrit K Borah, Project Mager, ASRLMS, Govt of Assam had visited DDU–GKY Training Centre on in mid October 2015 and he was also very impressed to see the works of Markazul Ma'arif. He declared that the Hostel No.3 for Girls is the best hostel he had ever seen anywhere in the country.
