Buenos Aires, Feb 11: Spanish tennis star Rafael dal met Argenti President Mauricio Macri ahead of his opening match in the Association of Tennis Professiols (ATP) Buenos Aires tourment here.

“It was a pleasure to spend a few minutes with Mauricio Macri, Argenti’s president. Thank you for making me feel at home,” dal tweeted on Wednesday, reports Xinhua.

The World No.5 entered Argenti’s government building and stayed in the president’s office for a few minutes, looking out of one of the traditiol balconies.

Even though there were no official declarations from the president, various photos were published showing the former World No.1 with Macri. dal will start his campaign at the Argenti Open on Thursday against Juan Moco in the second round. The Spaniard will be trying to defend the title he won last year when he defeated Moco in the fil 6-4, 6-1. It is not the first time that Macri has met dal. He met the Spaniard before while he was the Buenos Aires Chief of Government in 2013 and 2015. IANS
