PATHSALA, Nov 5: On Friday, to make aware of people about traffic rules and regulations, a programme was held at Pathsala, organized by Pathsala Press Guild in collaboration with Bajali College and Bajali rural advancement under the president ship of Giridhor Choudhury, administrative advisor of Press Guild. In this programme many prominent persolities were felicitated by members of the Pathsala Press Guild. Subha Laksmi Deka, SDO civil, iugurated the programme. Tree plantation was done by Giris Patgiri, president of administrative committee of Pathsala while Dr Manoj Kr Mahanta, Principal of Bajali College lit the lamp. Actor and mager, dramatist Nitul Kumar Medhi, senior jourlist geswar Das and Pulu Kumar Sarma were felicitated with gamosa, citation and memorandum. Prabin Bihari Das, DTO of Barpeta District, spoke about traffic rules, regulations and discipline. He stressed the importance of wearing seat belts and helmets.
