Itagar, Dec 3: The 48 BRTF under Project Udayak of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) had launched a 170 ft long Bailey Bridge over Lohit river on Meshai-Dichu road in remote Anjaw district and made it operatiol on November 23 last. Besides providing connectivity which was presently restricted to a foot suspension bridge, the bridge would give renewed impetus to administrative and logistic support to the Army and local population by facilitating movement of traffic and development of ongoing road infrastructure work on the eastern bank of river, a press release informed here today.
