DEMOW, July 14: In Sivasagar district under Thowra Constituency, the foundation stone of ONGC Super Specialty Hospital was laid on November 17, 2013 in Demow Desang Rajabari. Work on the hospital is yet to start. In protest against this delay, on July 18 Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Mancha (BAYM), Sivasagar District Committee will stage a two-hour demonstration in front of ONGC zira office, said Jadab Gogoi, secretary of Brihattar Asomiya Yuba Mancha (BAYM), Sivasagar District Committee. He added, “In Demow Desang Rajabari, to build the ultra modern hospital though many bighas of land were taken but after the foundation stone was laid, nothing happened.”
