DEMOW, May 7: The Assam bandh called by the Asom Ga Parishad (AGP) on Thursday was successful in Demow. All shops, offices and educatiol institutions were closed and normal life was paralyzed. In the morning time AGP activists of the Thowra constituency burnt tyres in NH-37 road and broke the window panes of some vehicles, thereby creating a chaotic situation.
