Demow schools show good performance in HSLC exam

DEMOW, May 31: The results of the HSLC and High Madrassa Examition, 2017 were declared on Wednesday and St Mary’s School registered 100 per cent success. A total of 26 Students appeared in the exam from St. Mary’s School where five students secured distinction marks, 4 students secured star marks, 12 students secured first division with letter Marks in different subjects and 5 students secured second division. Harshit Beria, Rahul Konwar and Jebipon Dehingia secured 91 per cent and became the toppers of  St.Mary’s School.

 In Hem Chandra Borgohain Model English School, one student secured distinction marks, one student secured first division and two students secured second division. From St John School, 3 students secured first division, 10 students secured second division and one student secured third division.

From Sunny Rose English High School, a total 15 students appeared where one student secured star marks, 10 students secured first division with letter in different subjects, 4 students secured second division. From Lambudar Borgohain Sankardev Bidya Niketan School, a total of 61 students appeared in HSLC examition and 4 students secured distinction marks, 12 students secured star marks, 34 students secured first division and 11 students secured second division. Amlan Jyoti Barua, a student of Lambudar Borgohain Sankardev Bidya Niketan School secured 94.5 per cent and became the topper in the school.

From Demow Jatiya Vidyalaya School, a total of 37 students appeared where one student secured distinction marks, 5 students secured star marks, 22 students secured first division, and 9 students secured second division. From Athabari Higher Secondary School, one student secured star marks, 9 students got first division, 10 students secured second division and 14 students secured third division.

From Duponi High School, 31 students secured first division, 36 students secured second division and 16 students got third division. In Sarugua High School, six students secured first division, 23 secured second division and 8 students secured third division. From Palengi High School, 21 students secured first division, 41 students secured second division and 25 students secured third division.
