Numaligarh, Aug 2: Delhi Public School Numaligarh (DPSN) has proved its mettle once again by retaining the No. 1 position for the fourth consecutive year among the 22 Public Sector Unit (PSU) Delhi Public schools of the country in the CBSE conducted AISSCE (Class - XII) Examition 2016-17. This is based on the average aggregate result alysis of Performance Index as presented by Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi. The school also tops among the 7 Delhi Public Schools in the North-East.
DPSN has added another feather to the cap by being ranked 5th among 132 Delhi Public schools in the country and abroad based on the above mentioned alysis. With 111 students (37 in Science, 44 in Humanities and 30 in Commerce) who appeared for the examition, the average result stands at 87.75.
Out of 41 students securing top ten ranks from all the streams among the PSU Delhi Public Schools, 8 students are from DPS Numaligarh. Aayushree Konwar has secured the 5th rank in the Science stream. In the Humanities stream, 9 students out of 13 have secured the top ten ranks among the PSU Delhi Public Schools. Priyanka Bini and Nishtha Gogoi have secured the 7th and 10th rank respectively in the Commerce stream of PSU Delhi Public Schools.
It is for the first time that the school has successfully secured such number of top ten ranks. Sneha Bini of the Humanities stream has secured the second position in the North-East region among all CBSE schools.This was stated in a press release.
