Dibrugarh, April 28: Gas pipeline services under Assam Gas Company Limited (AGCL) here got affected due to sudden shutdown of gas pipelines that caused severe hardships to the resident gas pipeline users of Dibrugarh town. As such the residents of the town have expressed anguish over the failure of the AGCL authorities to provide prior information about the said shutdown. It is believed that the oil pilferage circles’ nexus with Oil India and Gas Company is the reason for the public distress. As such the users of pipeline gas have decided to seek clarification from the gas company authorities regarding the uvailability of gas pipeline services.
