GOLAGHAT, Jan 2: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anowarul Haque visited the Sokhat Tea Garden area under Kakodunga Gaon Panchayat and interacted with the labourers on first day of the new year. In a press release the DIPRO, Golaghat, stated that Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat district visited No. 2 Samrik Line to know about the problems of the garden labourers. He interacted with the women of the tea garden areas and advised them to keep their houses clean, to maintain hygiene and to avoid open defecation. The Rangliting Tea Garden was declared an open defecation -free tea garden in Golaghat district.
