SHILLONG, April 11: On Saturday morning, residents of Mawryngkneng village, East Khasi Hills (EKH), recovered one rusted grede at the village.
Later the personnel of the Bomb Disposal Squad safely defused the grede.
Meanwhile, the police arrested two persons suspected to be drug peddlers.
The two people have been identified as Rashid Ali and Aisha Khatoon. The incident occurred on April 10 evening. The police also seized one tobacco container and forty-two small packets containing powder suspected to be heroin from their possession.
